TechSoft Simulation Award 2026

Formula Student Czech Republic

TechSoft, Ansys authorized channel partner, invites Formula Student Czech Republic participants to showcase their simulation expertise in the TechSoft Simulation Award 2026. This year’s focus is on simulation validation – demonstrating how well simulation results correlate with experimental data and how teams interpret and improve their models based on real-world behavior. The best submissions will be awarded during the ceremony and featured on social media.

Guidelines

Open to teams participating in Formula Student Czech Republic 2026
Maximum of 2 submissions per team
Any physics allowed – multiphysics encouraged
Any simulation software allowed - Do you need simulation tools used by the best racing teams?

Each submission must include:

1 image (min. FHD resolution, can consist of multiple images, any readable format like JPG, PNG, PDF, GIF, etc.)
Written description (in a separate PDF file)
Max length: 1500 characters including spaces

Each submission must address:

Description of the simulation and experiment
Comparison with experimental data
Explanation of differences between simulation and reality
Suggestions for improving the simulation model

Subject line must be: "Car num XX, TechSoft Simulation Award 2026"
Attach your simulation image
Include the description as a separate PDF file
State your team name in the email body

Award

Top 3 teams will be announced and awarded
Teams will receive: LEGO Icons + 20 t-shirts TechSoft/FSCZ collaboration

Evaluation Criteria

Simulation complexity
Explanation of inaccuracy or accuracy (difference between simulation and experimental data)
Quality of validation approach
Clarity and visualisation of comparison
